Chocolate Chip Cookies

Makes ~3 dozen cookies
Ingredients

- 1/2 cup salted butter (softened)
- 1/2 cup granulated white sugar
- 1/2 cup packed light brown sugar
- 1 tsp. pure vanilla extract
- 1 large egg
- 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/2 tsp. baking soda
- 1/4 tsp. baking powder
- 1/4 tsp. sea salt
- 1 cup chocolate chips
Instructions

- Preheat oven to 375°F
- Line a baking pan with parchment paper and set aside
- Cream together butter and sugars until combined
- Beat in eggs and vanilla until fluffy
- Mix in the dry ingredients until combined.
- Add chocolate chips and mix well
- Use a size 70 scoop (~1 Tbsp) to form the dough into balls and place them evenly on the prepared cookie sheeet
- Bake for approximately 10 minutes. Take them out when they are just starting to turn brown.
- Let them sit on the baking pan for 2 minutes before removing to cooling rack.
