Chocolate Chip Cookies

Chocolate Chip Cookies #

**Makes ~56 cookies using a size 60 scoop**

Ingredients #

  • 2 1/4 cups flour
  • 1 tsp. baking soda
  • 1 cup (2 sticks) butter, softened
  • 1 3.4 oz. package of vanilla pudding mix
  • 1/4 cup granulated white sugar
  • 3/4 cup packed brown sugar
  • 1 tsp. vanilla extract
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 cups chocolate chips (1 12 oz. package)

Instructions #

  • Preheat oven to 375°F
  • Mix flour and baking soda a small bowl, set aside.
  • Beat butter, vanilla pudding mix, white sugar, brown sugar, and vanilla extract in a large bowl until creamy
  • Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition
  • Gradually add flour mixture and beat until well blended
  • Stir in chocolate chips
  • Use a size 60 scoop to form the dough into balls and place them evenly on the prepared cookie sheet 2" apart
  • Press a slight dimple onto the top of each dough ball
  • Bake for approximately 9 minutes. Take them out when they are just starting to turn brown.
  • Let them sit on the baking sheet for 5 minutes before removing to cooling rack.

Notes #

  • Try adding back 1 tsp. of salt on next bake
  • Rotate the baking sheets 180° halfway through baking
  • Swap top and bottom racks halfway through baking
