White Chocolate Orange
Makes ~3 dozen cookies

Ingredients #

  • 1 cup unsalted butter (softened)
  • 1/2 cup granulated white sugar
  • 1/2 cup packed brown sugar
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 Tbsp. orange zest
  • 2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 3/4 tsp. baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 2 cups white chocolate chips

Instructions #

  • Preheat oven to 350°F
  • Stir flour, baking soda, and salt together in a separate bowl. Set aside.
  • Cream together butter and sugars until combined
  • Beat in egg and orange zest
  • Gradually mix flour mixture into butter mixture.
  • Stir in white chocolate chips and mix well.
  • Add chocolate chips and mix well
  • Use a size 70 scoop (~1 Tbsp) to form the dough into balls and place them evenly on the prepared cookie sheeet
  • Bake for 10-12 minutes. Take them out when they are just starting to turn brown.
  • Let them sit on the baking pan for 2 minutes before removing to cooling rack.
