Libby’s Famous Pumpkin Pie #

Ingredients #

  • 1 can (15 oz) Libby’s 100% Pure Pumpkin
  • 1 1/2 cups (12 fl. oz) Evaporated milk
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground ginger
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground cloves
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 unbaked 9-inch deep-dish pie shell

Equipment Needed #

  • Small mixing bowl
  • Large mixing bowl
  • Hand mixer
  • Pie pan (if not using pre-made pie shell that comes in a pan)

Instructions #

  • Preheat oven to 425°F
  • Mix dry ingredients together in small mixing bowl
  • Beat eggs in large mixing bowl. Mix in pumpkin and dry ingredients mixture. Gradually mix in milk.
  • Pour pie filling into pie shell.
  • Bake pie at 425°F for 15 minutes. Reduce temperature to 350°F and bake for another 30-40 minutes or until knife inserted near the center of the pie comes out clean.
  • Cool on a wire rack for 2 hours.
  • Serve immediately or refrigerate.
