Ingredients #

  • 14 oz. Polska kielbasa, sliced 1/4 inch thick
  • 1 large yellow onion, sliced
  • 1/2 head of green cabbage, sliced thin
  • 1/2 bunch fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1 lb. egg noodles
  • 4 oz. unsalted butter

Instructions #

  • Cook noodles according to package instructions.
  • While noodles are cooking, melt 2 tablespoons of the butter in a large skillet on medium heat. Add the kielbasa and cook until browned all around.
  • Add the sliced onion to the skillet. Fry for 3 to 5 more minutes, stirring often until the onions are soft and lightly browned.
  • Add the sliced cabbage and mix well. Fry for another 3 to 5 minutes.
  • Add the cooked noodles, remaining butter, salt, pepper and chopped parsley. Stir until the butter melts and everything is well-mixed.
