Ingredients #

  • 2 cups of basil leaves
  • 2 Tbsp. of pine nuts
  • 2 large cloves of garlic
  • 1/2 cup olive oil
  • 1/2 finely grated parmesan cheese
  • 8 oz. of gemelli pasta

Equipment Needed #

  • Food processor

Instructions #

  • Mince basil leaves, pine nuts, and garlic cloves in a food processor.
  • With the food processor running, slowly add the olive oil until smooth.
  • Add the parmesan cheese into the pesto and run the food processor just until incorporated.
  • Mix in with the pasta and serve.
