Pumpkin Chocolate Chip Cookies

Ingredients

- 1 cup shortening
- 2 cups white sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 2 tsp. vanilla extract
- 2 Tbsp. milk
- 1 15 oz. can of pumpkin
- 2 tsp. baking powder
- 2 tsp. baking soda
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 tsp. cinnamon
- 3 1/2 cups of flour
- 1 or 2 cups of chocolate chips

- 2 mixing bowls
- Cookie sheets
Instructions

- Preheat oven to 400°F
- In a mixing bowl. Cream together the shortening and sugar
- Mix in the eggs, vanilla, milk, and canned pumpking.
- In a separate mixing bowl. Mix together the baking powder, baking soda, salt, cinnamon, and flour.
- Slowly beat the dry ingredients into the bowl containing the wet ingredients.
- Fold the chocolate chips into the batter
- Use a size 70 scoop (~1 Tbsp) to form the dough into balls and place them evenly onto a prepared cookie sheeet
- Bake for 8-10 minutes
